About the Role
As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory. You’ll work closely with operations, inside sales, and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires regular customer visits, both to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory. You’ll work closely with operations, inside sales, and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires regular customer visits, both to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory by maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Visit customers regularly to assess needs, present solutions, and close sales.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes in collaboration with the inside sales and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with purchasing and operations to ensure timely product delivery and support.
- Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Represent PASS Controls at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment, automation, or related industries.
- Proven success in B2B sales and account management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both in person and via email/phone.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar ERP system) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Houston area and surrounding regions.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.
- Grow territory sales volume by developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
- Maintain a high customer retention rate through consistent follow-up and quality service.
- Submit accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and activity summaries.
- Deliver profitable sales growth aligned with company goals.
