We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide who is dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting seniors through quality nutrition and service. Position Summary The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting our Nutrition Services team by assisting with meal preparation, food service, sanitation, and meal delivery. This position helps ensure meals are served safely, accurately, and with courtesy to seniors in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation, portioning, plating, and serving of mealsEnsure meals meet prescribed dietary requirements and portion standardsSet up and break down dining areas and service stationsDeliver meals to seniors in dining areas or designated service locationsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areasFollow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures at all timesAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating food suppliesProvide courteous, respectful, and friendly service to seniors and staffReport concerns related to food quality, safety, or participant needs to supervisorsPerform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious food service or dietary experience preferred (healthcare or senior services a plus)Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to [XX] poundsMust be dependable, punctual, and team-orientedGenuine interest in working with seniors What We OfferMeaningful work serving the senior communitySupportive and team-oriented work environmentTraining provided (including food safety procedures)Competitive hourly payOpportunities for growth within Nutrition & Senior ServicesBenefits package may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and holidays (for eligible positions) Equal Opportunity Employer Nutrition & Services for Seniors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
