About the role
Do you enjoy contributing to Jan De Nul Group's construction projects? Do you want to utilize your strong spatial and architectural insight and work in a coordinating role? Then read on, because you might be the BIM coordinator we're looking for!
What you’ll do
As a BIM Coordinator, you'll create BIM execution plans with the project team, providing all involved parties with insights into the future situation. Throughout the project, you'll adjust the plans based on the wishes and/or needs of each party.
You'll set up and manage the central collaboration platform for every project. You'll also create coordination models to ensure high-quality models from all parties.
You'll perform quality checks on the various BIM sub-models and ensure the correct application of agreed-upon standards.
- You'll analyze each sub-model and conduct clash detection across different models.
- You'll be responsible for optimizing various BIM functionalities, including 4D planning, GIS-BIM linking, 3D laser scanning, and cost calculation.
- You'll communicate with diverse parties and follow up on important issues
What do you need?
You should have a degree in industrial engineering (civil engineering). A different degree in a civil engineering field or equivalent experience is also welcome!
- Preferably, you have experience with BIM modeling.
- Knowledge of BIM software programs such as Revit, Tekla, Solibri, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Grasshopper is a plus.
- You have a strong interest in digitalization and want to deepen your expertise in this area.
- As a coordinator, you possess excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse parties.
- You are fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
