Power Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a hardworking, career-oriented person of good character to fill a Class A CDL Driver position within our organization.
The CDL Class A Driver position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Transportation of large goods
- Safe and responsible operation of equipment
- Performing pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Ability to perform general maintenance on vehicle
- Safely loading, transporting, and parking box trailers, low boys, and flatbeds
- Complying with state and federal laws and regulations
- Complying with company policies, standards, and guidelines
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and/or damage before and after every trip
- Lifting 75+ lbs.
- Securing loads with chains and cables
This position requires:
- Amazing customer service
- Effective communication
- A valid driver’s license with a Class A
- A passing DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Driving long distances
- 2 years of experience driving and a high school diploma or an equivalent; it is preferred that the driver has completed a post-secondary degree involving truck driving with a PTDI (Professional Truck Driver Institute) certified school.
- Must be 21 or older
Candidate should be willing and able to learn, be dependable, and have a good work ethic. This position is fulltime and requires overtime. A candidate with non-essential abilities, such as welding certifications, or who has a mechanical or electrical background is preferred.

We focus on character and adaptability so the applicant must have a professional demeanor, be punctual, and a team player who is focused and self-driven.
