Description
As a Solution Architect SAP MM & Ariba, you will design, implement, and optimize SAP-based procurement solutions that strengthen end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes. As a global technical expert, you will align SAP MM and SAP Ariba solutions with business goals while supporting implementations and operations in a regulated environment.
You will work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and suppliers to improve compliance, efficiency, and innovation across global procurement processes. The role includes international travel and may involve long-term assignments during global rollouts.
Your responsibilities:
Design, configure, and implement SAP MM and SAP Ariba solutions that optimize procurement operations.
Integrate SAP MM and SAP Ariba with Finance and other SAP modules, including SD, to enable seamless end-to-end processes.
Manage global SAP MM and SAP Ariba rollouts in line with local and international logistics and trade regulations.
Lead validation activities for inventory and supplier-related processes, particularly in pharmaceutical environments.
Oversee the technical implementation of procurement portals and supplier interfaces to strengthen collaboration with suppliers.
Identify, propose, and implement system improvements that streamline Source-to-Pay workflows.
Provide SAP procurement expertise to large transformation programs and global rollout initiatives.
Your qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum six years of experience designing and implementing solutions with a focus on Source-to-Pay.
Expert knowledge of SAP MM in SAP ERP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, together with expert knowledge of SAP Ariba.
Understanding of Finance processes within Source-to-Pay and broad knowledge of SAP ERP.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with service management tools such as ServiceNow.
Experience delivering global projects and collaborating with international teams and suppliers in matrix organizations.
Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluent written and spoken English and willingness to travel.
