Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for training the summer staff cooks to provide PC standards of excellence in serving meals. Specific areas include staff training in kitchens, and ensuring PC standards of quality and excellence are served at each meal. This position begins in Spring 2027 and will continue through the summer season, contributing to closing down camp kitchens at the end of summer. Job Description:

Job Responsibilities 

• Responsible for training summer staff cooks

• Responsible for oversight of PC standards of excellence in serving meals

• Responsible for upholding cleaning standards

• Responsible for other tasks as directed.

Job Qualifications

•  Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Faith

• Maintain compliance with all Pine Cove policies and procedures during employment including the Staff Policy Handbook

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws

• Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers, and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors

• Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence

• Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude

• Possess current driver’s license and able to drive company vehicles as needed

• Food Safety Certification preferred

• Minimum of 1 year experience in camp and/ or Food Services

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train others
