Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack) to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud-native development, modern frontend frameworks, and microservices architecture. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on development, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
  • Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern web technologies.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Support Agile delivery processes and participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Drive application performance optimization, scalability improvements, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Resolve production issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 9+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, including:
    • .NET Core / .NET 6+
    • ASP.NET Core
    • C#
    • Entity Framework Core
    • LINQ
  • Strong frontend development experience with:
    • Angular (Version 12+ preferred)
    • TypeScript
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • JavaScript
    • Bootstrap or equivalent UI frameworks
  • Experience designing and developing:
    • RESTful APIs
    • Microservices architecture
    • Event-driven applications
  • Strong database expertise in:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • PostgreSQL
    • Database design and performance tuning
    • Stored Procedures and Query Optimization
  • Experience with:
    • Git
    • Azure DevOps or GitHub
    • Branching and release management strategies
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Object-Oriented Design Principles
    • Design Patterns
    • SOLID Principles
    • Secure Coding Practices
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services:
    • App Services
    • Azure Functions
    • Azure Service Bus
    • Azure SQL
    • Azure Storage
    • Azure Key Vault
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD.
  • Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
  • Exposure to Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, or AI-powered enterprise solutions.
  • Azure, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Insurance, financial services, or enterprise application experience is preferred.
