For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Provision and manage GCP infrastructure — including GCP Projects, Cloud Storage Buckets, BigQuery Datasets, and BigQuery Tables — using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code, covering Transfer Jobs, permissions, secrets, labels, and modules
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines orchestrated with Argo Workflows, defining workflow logic in YAML within a GCP environment
- Develop, version, test, and document ETL transformations using dbt (Data Build Tool) with SQL, applying dbt's built-in automated testing and integrated documentation features
- Write Python to support data engineering workflows, from pipeline logic to data processing tasks within the established stack
- Containerize and deploy data workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring consistent and scalable execution of data engineering components
- Manage source code and collaborate on data engineering projects using Git and GitLab, following version control practices through commits and merge requests
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing and deployment of data engineering artifacts across environments
- Fluency in English (C1 Level)
- Availability for remote model, based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit)
