Responsibilities

• Embed and sustain the APQP methodology and core tools within the culture and development processes of Thales Alenia Space Belgium
• Define and implement a training, coaching, and APQP maintenance plan
• Adapt APQP tools to the company’s scale, production volumes,market needs, and current tools for new product maturity development
• Implement any other activities necessary to achieve an effective new product development process
• Audit and assist the Quality Director and the Chief Operating Officer in the overhaul of the quality manual for Thales Alenia Space Belgium
• Lead the overhaul of quality processes and the implementation of new tools as part of the transition to SAP and related initiatives
• Coach teams in the problem-solving process to increase team maturity

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) gained through proven hands-on experience
• Proficiency with APQP tools and the ability to adapt them to different contexts.
• Experience in project management, product development, and related processes.
• Ability to develop training plans and coach teams
• Ability to understand market needs and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of quality standards and best practices in quality management.
• Ability to audit and draft documentation related to quality processes.
• Experience in managing quality processes
• Ability to manage process redesign projects.
• Proven experience in problem-solving methods.
