Are you an experienced IT professional who enjoys working with enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup systems, and business-critical applications?

Resorts Casino Hotel is seeking a hands-on System & Application Administrator to join our Technology team in Atlantic City, NJ.

Located along the Atlantic City oceanfront, Resorts offers a unique opportunity to work in an environment where enterprise technology, hospitality, entertainment, and regulated gaming come together.

This is a 100% on-site position, five days per week, designed for an IT professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with business and technology teams, and solving challenging technical issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 operating environment.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a technically strong, hands-on administrator who enjoys working across multiple areas of enterprise infrastructure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in server and infrastructure administration.
• Strong experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter in an enterprise environment.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Linux server administration.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication or an equivalent enterprise backup platform.
• Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage architecture.
• Experience with Pure Storage or an equivalent enterprise storage platform.
• Understanding of high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, backup, replication, and recovery concepts.
• Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, system upgrades, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Full Time - On-Site, 5 Days Per Week

Preferred

• Experience working in a casino, gaming, hospitality, hotel, or other 24/7 mission-critical environment.
• Experience supporting regulated or highly controlled technology environments.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and infrastructure management tools.
• Relevant VMware, Microsoft, Veeam, storage, or other IT certifications.

Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

• Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in any areas of Information Technology are desired

Knowledge & Experience

• Product support and vendor management skills, required.
• Administer and maintain a VMware enterprise virtual environment, including VMware ESXi, vCenter, clusters, HA/DRS, vMotion, and virtual machine lifecycle management.
• Administer Windows Server and supported Linux server environments.
• Perform operating system patching, security updates, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.
• Plan and execute enterprise application upgrades on Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments, including provisioning, capacity management, performance monitoring, snapshots, replication, and lifecycle management.
• Administer and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup jobs, retention policies, repositories, replication, restores, and backup/restore testing.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Support a high-availability enterprise environment where system reliability and uptime are critical.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery activities.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure changes with application owners, vendors, network, security, and other technology teams.
• Provide advanced/Tier 3 technical support for server-hosted applications and infrastructure.

• Understanding of disaster recovery & business continuity processes a plus.
• Project management experience a plus.
• Casino gaming environment/Hospitality Industry experience desirable

Technical Expertise

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Microsoft Sequel
• Microsoft Powershell and/or VP scripting, desirable

Pay Rate

$60,000 – $80,000 annually
