Briefing

In this role, you join a four‑person Cloud Engineering team that owns deployments and self‑service environments for the Savings & Investments part of Ohpen's core‑banking platform. Most of the work is driven directly by the team: building AWS infrastructure, contributing to standardized Terraform modules and developing the tooling that gives developers safe, self‑service access to infrastructure.

Your day‑to‑day focuses on making the platform reliable, secure and easy to operate. That means automating everything from environment provisioning to deployments, improving monitoring and observability and helping troubleshoot incidents across infrastructure and networking, with support from senior colleagues.

Once you're up to speed, you join a four‑person on‑call rotation where you help triage alerts and fix production issues. You then use what you've learned to contribute to modernization efforts from legacy setups to cloud‑native designs, strengthen platform security and bring your ideas to architectural discussions that impact reliability, performance and cost.

About You

• You have a 3+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud technologies, ideally including AWS‑based infrastructure in production.

• You have worked with Terraform or another infrastructure‑as‑code tool, and you're comfortable with networking basics, Windows/Linux systems and CI/CD pipelines.

• You can script in Python, Bash or PowerShell, and you've used automation and monitoring tools to keep systems running smoothly.

• You understand cloud security fundamentals and IAM, and you're keen to learn how to build secure, compliant setups for a regulated environment.
