Finance Analyst Lead (Grecia, Manufacturing Site)

Join the finance team in Costa Rica as a Finance Analyst Lead supporting cost accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, and operational finance activities. In this individual contributor role, you will partner with Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Human Resources, Engineering, Quality, and the site Controller while supporting product transfers and enterprise resource planning system implementations.

What You Will Do

• Support finance activities for site projects and product transfers, including financial reporting and cost analysis.
• Lead the finance workstream for enterprise resource planning system implementations, serving as a subject-matter expert for new systems and processes.
• Establish standard costs for purchased and manufactured items and analyze future product costs.
• Review and approve bills of materials and manufacturing routings to support accurate product costing.
• Execute timely month-end cost accounting activities, including journal entries, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Monitor and report cycle count results to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with financial control requirements.
• Prepare cost proposals, forecasts, annual operating plans, long-range financial plans, and key performance indicator reporting.
• Partner with Operations and external auditors to address cost-of-goods requests and improve transactional processes, financial controls, and reporting efficiency.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of cost accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and cost accounting methodologies.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience supporting inventory accounting, financial close, journal entries, and variance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system, including system implementations.
• Experience using Hyperion for financial reporting.
• Experience in the medical device industry or supporting product transfer projects.
