Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Tech to join our Surgical Services team. As a Sterile Processing Tech, your main responsibilities will include decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, re-sterilizing, and distributing sterile patient care supplies and equipment. This role provides a critical opportunity to work in the healthcare industry and ensure the safety of both patients and staff through the proper implementation of sterilization procedures. What you'll need:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Central Supply Certification preferred
- Three to six months of Central Supply/Sterile Processing training with theory and practice preferred
- Minimum of one year of Central Supply/Sterile Processing experience preferred
Schedule: 0.6 FTE; 24 hours/week; 3 8-hour shifts; variable shift
