Shipping and Receiving
Charter Wire’s 81st Street facility is currently looking to fill a 1st shift manufacturing job in our Shipping and Receiving department. In this role, you will prepare customer orders for shipment, receive incoming materials and supplies, load and unload trucks, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep the warehouse organized. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and attention to detail are important.

- Pay Range - $22.75 starting, or higher for highly qualified candidates
- Shift – 1st Shift, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Location - 7850 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53223

Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems.
- Experience with online freight scheduling systems.
- Experience loading trucks for shipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, but if you don’t have it that’s okay! We will pay for you to get your GED through an accredited program!
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to safely load, unload, move, and organize materials within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to self-direct your workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer, math, reading, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, solve basic problems, and work well as part of a team.
- You work safely and must be able to meet the minimum physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
