Prairie Band Health Service is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional healthcare services at Taos Picuris Service Unit located in Taos, New Mexico 87571

Details:
- Monday through Friday
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients required
Duties:
- Conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans
- Providing education to patients, families, and the broader community on health and wellness
- Coordinating referrals to specialty care and ensuring follow-up
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
- Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications following IHS formulary guidelines
- Supporting quality improvement efforts and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements
- Shall be certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- Possess a current, unrestricted state medical license from any of the 50 states or Puerto Rico
- 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions.
- Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- DEA
- Maintain continuing education/ certification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
- Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
