JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Vice President, Medicine and Academic Affairs (VPMAA), the Project Coordinator is involved with all aspects of assigned strategic projects including project scoping, planning, communications, and partnership engagement. They provide analytical skills in the review, evaluation and maintenance of project documentation, functional components, and reporting of those projects within the VP MAA portfolio. This role directly supports and aligns broadly with the Department’s identified priorities and enables proactive, responsive, and timely decision-making and participation across the portfolio. The Project Coordinator works with partners at all levels of the organization to achieve project goals and deliverables through effective communication, collaboration, and coordination. As appropriate to the project or initiative, this role will liaise with various internal and external partners and will represent the interests of the Department, ensuring that information flows, risks are identified, and response is timely and comprehensive. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the VPMAA to develop and maintain relationships that are crucial to the integrated, responsive, aligned functioning of the department within VCH. Working alongside senior Departmental leadership, the coordinator helps to maintain and evaluate department-wide information systems and processes that support the interdependencies across the functions of the department, and support timely, effective, and integrated documentation as well as reporting requirements.
