The work model for the role is: Onsite, St.Louis, MO
This Position reports to: Tony Hernandez (2nd shift)
Hourly pay range: $42.29-$47.25
(Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift)

Your role and responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and design specifications to set up, manufacture, and modify tooling components to required tolerances.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain toolroom equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills to fabricate, repair, and finish tools and die components.
Inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, repair, and test tools and dies to minimize downtime, support production continuity, and respond to equipment breakdowns.
Drive continuous improvement, tooling efficiency, and scrap reduction initiatives; maintain accurate records in SAP, follow standard repair procedures, and report recurring equipment issues.
Qualifications for the role:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker with demonstrated expertise in toolroom and machining operations.
Proficient in operating drills, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision metalworking equipment.
Strong knowledge of die assembly, die operation, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to perform complex mathematical calculations using geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
Solid understanding of metallurgy and metal properties, including material selection and performance characteristics.
Effective team player with strong communication skills; able to collaborate with engineers and machinists while working independently with minimal supervision.
