Overview
The Pipeline Technician is responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of pipeline systems through routine pigging operations, preventive maintenance, inspections, and work order completion.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pipeline pigging operations.
- Inspect and maintain pipeline equipment and associated facilities.
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify and report equipment issues or abnormal operating conditions.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using Salesforce.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.
- Work overtime as needed to support pipeline operations and compliance.
Qualifications
- Previous oil & gas production operations experience.
- Previous pipeline pigging experience.
- Experience performing pipeline maintenance.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (Salesforce or similar).
- Knowledge of pipeline safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must meet conditonal job offer requirements.
