Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP/CF) | Experienced SLPA Candidates Considered
ChatterNOLA | Metairie, Louisiana
Since 2008, ChatterNOLA has been dedicated to helping children communicate, connect, and thrive through exceptional pediatric speech-language therapy. Our Metairie clinic, established in 2017, is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and meaningful partnerships with families.
We specialize in pediatric speech-language therapy using individualized, play-based approaches that respect each child's unique strengths, interests, and developmental needs. Our goal is simple: provide therapy that makes a lasting difference.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an outstanding Speech-Language Pathologist to our team.
Who We Are
At ChatterNOLA, we believe clinical excellence is intentional.
We value clinicians who think critically, communicate effectively, take ownership of their practice, and continually seek opportunities to grow. We believe exceptional outcomes are achieved through strong clinical reasoning, individualized intervention, meaningful family collaboration, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
We value continued professional growth, but applicants should already possess the foundational clinical knowledge, professionalism, and independent clinical judgment expected of their role.

Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
-
Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy using developmentally appropriate, play-based intervention.
-
Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain timely, accurate documentation.

-
Collaborate with physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support each child's success.
-
Contribute to a professional, collaborative, and positive clinic culture.

-
Takes pride in delivering exceptional care and maintaining high professional standards.
Qualifications
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLP/CF candidates
-
Current Louisiana license or eligibility for licensure.
-
CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship candidates will be considered.
-
Highly experienced Louisiana-credentialed SLPAs with strong pediatric backgrounds, demonstrated treatment competence, and a history of reliable clinical performance may also be considered. Responsibilities and compensation would be adjusted according to role and scope of practice.
-
Pediatric experience preferred.
Compensation
-
CCC-SLP: $50 per direct treatment hour.
-
CF-SLP and SLPA candidates: Compensation established at the clinic's applicable role-based compensation schedule.
-
Evaluations: Compensated separately according to the clinic's evaluation fee schedule.
-
Direct treatment hour: Defined as completed direct clinical treatment time. For 30-minute treatment sessions, two completed sessions equal one direct treatment hour.
-
Productivity-based model: Direct treatment compensation applies to completed clinical services and is not a guaranteed hourly wage for all time onsite.
-
Cancellations and unfilled appointment times: Do not generate direct treatment compensation when no service is provided and the clinic receives no payment.
-
Late cancellations/no-shows: May generate the clinic's established cancellation payment when the applicable fee is successfully collected.
-
Schedule flexibility: Clinicians are not required to remain onsite solely because of unscheduled gaps when documentation and other required responsibilities are current.
-
Compensation review: Clinical rates and compensation structures are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted prospectively in response to material changes in CPT coding, payer reimbursement, or regulatory requirements.
