Product Owner

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner with 8–10 years of expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance to drive product strategy, manage data delivery initiatives, and ensure enterprise data quality and stewardship across the organization.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead product ownership activities with a focus on MDM architectures, gold records, and reference data management strategies
• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and requirements to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Oversee data delivery initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
• Manage data stewardship programs and coordinate with data governance teams to maintain data quality and compliance
• Conduct enterprise data analysis to identify gaps, optimize processes, and recommend architectural improvements
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate business requirements into actionable product features and deliverables
• Prioritize product backlog and ensure resources are allocated effectively to support MDM implementation and maintenance
• Champion data quality standards and ensure adherence to established gold record and master data management protocols

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional experience in Product Ownership and Master Data Management
• Deep expertise in MDM architectures, gold records management, and reference data frameworks
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, and enterprise data quality practices
• Proven experience with data delivery and enterprise data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
