## What you’ll do:
Job Summary:
The Senior Product Owner will set and communicate the product vision, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes like the product release schedule. The individual in this role will work closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team.
The specific focus for this individual will be creating a strategic product offering for external Eaton distributors, partners, and customers through an integration and data first platform. This product owner will be responsible for understanding current capabilities in this space, collecting and prioritizing asks from across global business units, and crafting a long term strategy and roadmap to grow our digital channel. Typical use cases that will form the foundation of this product include capabilities in order management, pricing, inventory, deal registration and partner management, quoting.
The Senior Product Owner will work in close partnership with business counterparts to identify where Eaton's external partners can accelerate growth with the appropriate digital integrations and data directly in their workflows. This individual will be part of a larger program focused on unifying and accelerating all our digital external touchpoints, and will help drive recommendations and build a product roadmap that will support the overall vision.
The Senior Product Owner tracks and manages product funding and defines work priorities for individuals dedicated to the product team. They will balance new features against continuous improvement, system health, and support.
The Senior Product Owner works directly with a team of analysts, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and provide voice of the customer within product processes.

## Job Responsibilities:
\- Provide technical experience and industry best practices for engaging with external organizations via digital integration channels across a variety of enterprise use cases
\- Bring a strong technical understanding in modern integration methods, platforms, and API first data exchange in order to collaborate appropriately and drive the strategic vision for Eaton in this space.
\- Own and prioritize the external-API product roadmap and backlog across distributor and partner requests, balancing new endpoints against reliability, reuse, cost and business generated for Eaton.
\- Drive the modernization of Eaton's current offerings from pull-only to a push + pull, event-driven model, with the integration and platform teams
\- Sequence and coordinate cross-team dependencies across the enterprise including support from integration, architecture, data, and security teams.
\- Define and report external-API KPIs — organizations onboarded, transaction throughput, and SLA adherence — to program and business leadership'- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer and business needs
\- Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
\- Plan, manage, and track product funding. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan
\- Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
\- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders
\- Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
\- Support the onboarding of internal and external resources
\- Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
\- Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product
\- Define product processes (e.g., release schedule) and support process improvement activities across product processes (Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
\- Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
\- Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
\- Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy
## Qualifications:
Education level required:
- B.S. degree from an accredited insitiution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering or Related Technical Discipline.
Years and area of experience required:
- Relevant experience as an analyst, project manager, engineer, BRM or program lead on moderate to highly complex technology projects and programs.
- Experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position.
- Advanced English proficiency required. (Fluency in English is preferred)
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week onsite in Valinhos, SP).
Technical knowledge required:
- Practical knowledge and experience with product management and modern product delivery processes
- Practical knowledge of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams
- General understanding of DevSecOps principles
- General familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
- API product management: REST APIs, API gateway / management concepts, versioning, and rate limiting / throttling
- Event-driven and push integration patterns (webhooks, publish/subscribe) alongside pull APIs
- Working knowledge of identity and entitlements for external users (Okta, Saviynt; coarse- vs fine-grained access)
- Familiarity with iPaaS / MuleSoft-style integration and B2B data exchange
- Strong understanding of enterprise use cases for external data needs such as order management, pricing, inventory, quoting, or other similar touchpoints.
Nice to Have
Experience with large-scale ERP or Order Management integrations.
Experience in customer-facing digital platforms.
Knowledge of Eaton products, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
Experience within global IT transformation programs.
