A Day in the Life
Ops Initiatives Optimization (OIO) within Customer Care Order Operations partners with Operations, Centers of Excellence, Information Technology, and Project Management teams to improve processes, systems, and operating models that support order-to-cash activities across regions. The team focuses on process standardization, operational excellence, automation enablement, and sustainable business transformation. This position is based in Warsaw, Poland with a hybrid work model. Regular travel is not required, although the role provides exposure to global stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Support process, system, and tool improvement initiatives across Customer Care Order Operations
- Contribute to project planning, documentation, testing, risk tracking, progress monitoring, and stakeholder updates
- Gather and document business requirements, process maps, and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain process documentation, work instructions, knowledge repositories, and operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Centers of Excellence, Information Technology, and other business functions
- Assist with knowledge transfer, process transition, and operational readiness activities for markets and business partners
- Analyze operational data, reports, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support decision making.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of Medtronic operational experience with working knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools
- Experience analyzing data, reports, or operational metrics to support business decisions and process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a structured environmen
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and process transformation initiatives
- Experience with automation, system implementations, and operational excellence programs
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Customer Care, Order Operations, or shared services environments
- Ability to drive process improvements and support organizational change initiatives.
