At Pet Food Experts (PFX), our drivers are an essential part of the customer experience. You’re not simply delivering pet food and supplies — you’re representing PFX at every stop and helping independent pet retailers keep their businesses moving.

We’re looking for a dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to join our Suwanee, GA distribution center. This role offers regional routes throughout the Southeast, with a mix of day routes and 2–3 day routes.

What you'll do:

Our drivers make inside deliveries to independent pet retailers throughout the Southeast while providing the reliable, professional service our customers count on.

You'll be responsible for:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer within assigned routes in a timely, efficient and legal manner
• Making inside deliveries of pet food and supplies to independent retailers
• Providing exceptional customer service at every delivery
• Safely unloading product using liftgates and pallet/hand jacks
• Manually handling product and safely bending, lifting and moving up to 40 lbs.
• Entering and exiting the truck frequently throughout the shift
• Completing required paperwork and maintaining records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Following all DOT regulations and PFX safety policies and procedures

The Routes

Our Suwanee drivers cover a broad Southeast territory, giving you the opportunity to see a variety of markets and routes.

You can expect:

• Delivery territory throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee
• Routes ranging from approximately 600–1,200 miles
• Approximately 1–2 overnight trips, depending on the assigned route
• Typical shifts of approximately 8–12 hours
• Start times generally between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• A mix of shorter day routes and longer 2–3 day regional routes

Our routes are designed to provide a balance of day and overnight work while keeping drivers moving throughout the Southeast.

Equipment

You'll operate:

• International and Freightliner trucks
• Automatic transmissions
• Day cab equipment
• Liftgate-equipped trucks
• Equipment designed to support inside deliveries and safe product handling

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CDL equipment preferred
• Liftgate experience preferred
• Ability to safely and independently bend, lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
• Comfortable with early morning start times and 1–2 overnight trips
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and delivery equipment
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment testing, including physical/drug testing, MVR and background checks
