Job Description:

At Regions, the Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Bank Operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed
• Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary
• Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documents
• Researches and resolves related issues and general related questions
• Works under limited supervision following established guidelines and procedures
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
• May provide guidance to less experienced team members

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of operations or related work experience

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
• Data entry and typing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional preferred skills and competencies

• Technical and operational experience in a banking, financial services, or related environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of ATM operations, cash management processes, and banking procedures.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, transaction processing, and operational controls.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
• Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed monthly production and performance goals.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and changing business needs.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Work Schedule: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM and weekend rotation as part of the regular schedule + shift differential.

Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of Hoover, AL.

This position is currently remote but may be asked to come onsite or sit onsite in the future. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$48,310.00 USD
