Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Job Description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Catholic Religious Education (RE) Coordinator to support Catholic Religious Education programs. The Coordinator will assist in planning, organizing, and managing religious education activities while supporting chapel leadership, instructors, volunteers, and members of the Catholic community.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to coordinate religious education activities, and the ability to support a welcoming and effective faith-based learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support Catholic Religious Education programs and activities.
• Assist with planning and organizing religious education classes, events, and faith formation activities.
• Support communication and coordination between chapel leadership, instructors, volunteers, families, and participants.
• Maintain program schedules, attendance records, and required administrative documentation.
• Assist with preparing educational materials and resources for religious education programs.
• Support volunteer coordination and assist with training activities.
• Assist with sacramental preparation and Catholic faith formation programs.
• Help organize Catholic community events and religious activities.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation of the Religious Education program.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and welcoming environment for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Catholic Religious Education programs, faith-based activities, teaching, mentoring, or community programs preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with chapel staff, volunteers, families, and community members.
• Ability to manage schedules, records, and multiple program requirements.
• Experience in religious education, ministry, education, or volunteer coordination is beneficial.

Schedule

• Part-time position.
• Specific days and hours will be coordinated with chapel leadership based on program requirements.
