Job Summary:

The Parkwide Manager, Quick Service Restaurant Operations provides leadership and operational oversight for all quick service restaurant locations across the park, ensuring exceptional guest service, financial performance, and adherence to company standards. This role develops, mentors, and supports management teams while driving training initiatives, operational consistency, and continuous improvement efforts. The position maintains a strong field presence, partners with operations leadership to address business needs, and serves as a key resource during seasonal openings and daily operations.

 

The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundSchedule: Typical schedule is 40+ hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
  • Train, mentor, motivate, direct and support the support seasonal Manager, QSR Operations.
  • Train, mentor, motivate and support Food & Beverage Managers, Assistant Food & Beverage Managers, Deli and Snack Shop Supervisors, and Shift Leads across all QSR operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs, in partnership with the Food and Beverage Training Manager and the Learning & Development department.
  • Take the lead role as an on-site trainer and provide management support during seasonal openings.
  • Maintain a strong field presence to support daily operations, actively assist with period-end inventory and other hands-on needs, including stepping in to assist with covering open management shifts as needed.
  • Research and introduce strategies to continuously enhance the QSR operations, ensuring exceptional guest service while achieving and exceeding financial plans.
  • Communicate and follow-up on operational standards and expectations within each facility.
  • Monitor and respond to fluctuations in food cost and payroll in assigned operations.
  • Develop and implement systems to drive revenue growth and manage all operating costs effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with Food & Beverage Managers and Operations Management to address staffing needs, operational standards, and other issues within their operation.
  • Channel feedback from QSR operations to the support office regarding: menu selections, standards and training issues, staffing and management recommendations.
  • Consistently present a professional demeanor and appearance in all interactions with employees and guests, while reacting to pressure situations, and during off-duty interactions.
  • Responsible for training employees on point-of-sale procedures and payment protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and policies.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of QSR procedures and systems.
  • Ability to teach, motivate and develop.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, effective manner.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Ability to problem solve, select a course of action and follow-up.
  • Ability to analyze and react to financial information: revenues, food costs, payroll, and other expenses.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards.
  • Knowledge of training methods.
  • General knowledge of Point of Sales systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work nights, holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts. In-park and overnight travel required.
  • Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required. Workshops will be provided if not currently certified.
  • Certification in the ServeSafe food-handling program is required. Workshops will be provided if not currently certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of all positions supervised.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations on the location level.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures used within the department and Company.

 

 

Physical Requirements include:

  • Must be able to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
