Jaxon is looking for a Construction Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour plus significant OT opportunity and per diems while traveling

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel Requirement: While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, a Construction Technician should be prepared to travel as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company.

Security Clearance Requirement: This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.

Primary Duties:

• Assist welders, fabricators, and electricians with material handling and preparation
• Perform basic tasks including cutting, grinding, drilling, and cleaning/prepping materials
• Help with assembly and installation of finished products
• Assist with machine operations and equipment surveillance
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Requirements

Required Job Qualifications:

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
• Willingness to learn welding, fabrication, electrical basics, and operator duties
• Able to bend over, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs. regularly throughout the day
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks, certifications, or compliance requirements

Desired Job Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shop, construction, or laborer role
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
