Description
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to join our The North Face FP&A team, based in Stabio, Switzerland.
Let’s talk about the role!
As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will support The North Face FP&A activities across P&L Planning and Forecasting, with a primary focus on sales and margin, helping the team to assess channel performance and trends to maximize revenue and profitability.
You will gather Budget, Forecasts and Ops & Risks data, to load into our reporting tool (BPC), while delivering ad hoc reports, as requested by Senior Management.
To achieve these objectives, you will work closely with your FP&A colleagues, as well as with other functions, including Planning, Sales and DTC, while reporting directly to the FP&A Director.
Primary Accountabilities:
You will be expected to deliver strong results across the following FP&A responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and forecasting tools, ensuring consistency and accuracy of figures submitted to Corporate
- Ensure actuals and forecasts are accurately loaded into the system
- Drive forecasting accuracy excellence, by proactively analysing and reporting critical trends and dynamics, mainly within WHS channels and major accounts
- Maintain alignment between financial and commercial expectations, to ensure sales, margin and inventory targets are achieved
- Support the SG&A COE to deliver accurate profit analysis
- Ensure that all requests are delivered accurately and on time, including BPC loading, store roll, key account details, revenue walk, margin bridge, category overviews, etc.
- Support the Budget and five-year rolling financial plan, partnering with Planning team, Merch and Operations
Skills for Success
You will bring proven experience in controlling and financial planning, along with a strong analytical mindset:
- Master’s degree in finance or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in FP&A roles
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of the outdoor industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a goal-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced software skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, COGNOS and BPC (experience with AI tools is a plus)
- Fluent in English and preferably one additional EU language
