E&E Foods, Inc. is a vertically integrated primary producer and supplier of wild Alaskan finfish. The Company owns and operates processing plants in Renton and Federal Way, Washington, as well as shore-side processing plants in Yakutat, Sitka, Ketchikan, and Kenai, Alaska. This integration allows E&E Foods to maintain direct control of its products from harvest through delivery to the customer.

E&E Foods is seeking a Fresh Sales Coordinator to lead the continued growth of the Company’s fresh seafood program. The successful candidate will be an established and strategic sales professional responsible for advancing the Company’s position in the market through an innovative and disciplined approach to the industry. The position is based at the corporate office in Renton, Washington, and reports to the Company’s sales leadership.

Requirements

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

– Coordinate all fresh sales from the Company’s Yakutat, Sitka, Ketchikan, Kenai, Kodiak and Bristol Bay facilities.

– Manage Key Fresh accounts and quarterback Fresh Sales Team

– Execute Fresh Sales Strategy as established by VP Sales and Category Managers

– A willingness to take on other sales responsibilities when fresh sales are slow (Frozen Category Management, Atlantic Sales, Frozen VA and Commodity Sales)

– Maintain exceptional customer relationships by educating customers on E&E products, monitoring and reviewing customer performance for sales optimization, ensuring two-way communication, and managing operational excellence.

– Ensure that all sales reporting and metrics are completed and submitted on time.

– Travel, as required, to meet with customers and prospective customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

– A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in retail, sales, or the food industry.

– Demonstrated knowledge of the seafood industry and its marketplace.

– Self-motivated, personable, and energetic, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

– Succinct and effective written and verbal communication skills, together with strong attention to detail.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn required programs such as order entry and inventory systems.

Preferred

– A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Accounting, Administration, or a related field.

– Specialized knowledge of the Sablefish and Salmon markets.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position as a regular, permanent employee and includes the following company-provided benefits:

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND LOCATION

This position is on-site five (5) days per week at the Company’s corporate office in Renton, Washington. Up to 50% travel is required in order to meet with customers and prospective customers. Remote or Hybrid will be considered for exceptional candidates.
