Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Experience Range: 7 to 9 Years

About the Role:
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will contribute significantly to the reliability and performance of our software products. Your role will involve more complex testing activities, a higher level of defect analysis, and active participation in enhancing our QA methodologies. You will be pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, and document complex test cases.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis of defects.
• Develop and enhance test plans and test cases.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing.
• Automate repetitive test cases where applicable.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining QA tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Mentor junior QA team members.
• Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective.
• Propose and drive improvements in QA processes and standards.

Test Leadership & Governance

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for SAP Finance and CFIN programs.
• Lead QA teams across functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, and cutover testing phases.
• Establish quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and testing best practices.
• Manage test planning, effort estimation, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Provide regular status reporting and quality metrics to leadership and project stakeholders.

SAP Finance Testing

• Validate end-to-end Finance business processes including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Cost Center Accounting
  • Internal Orders
  • Profit Center Accounting
  • Controlling (CO)
  • Period-End Closing
  • Financial Reporting
• Review business requirements and functional specifications for Finance processes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and defects.

Central Finance (CFIN) Testing

• Lead testing activities for SAP Central Finance implementations and enhancements.
• Validate:
  • Initial Load processes
  • SLT Data Replication
  • AIF Monitoring and Error Handling
  • Source-to-Target Financial Data Reconciliation
  • Mapping and Value Transformation Rules
  • Document Replication
  • Master Data Synchronization
  • Intercompany Transactions
  • Universal Journal (ACDOCA) postings
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data transferred from source systems to Central Finance.
