Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Medical Supervisor located in Guadalajara Campus.

Reporting to the EH&S Manager  the Medical Supervisor is responsible for supervising medical staff, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations, managing relationships with external service providers, and coordinating medical services to support employee health and safety programs.

 

What a typical day looks like:

• Supervise the daily operation of Occupational Health services and medical personnel.
• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 15 healthcare professionals through external providers.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health regulations and internal management systems.
• Manage occupational health programs and preventive medicine campaigns.
• Coordinate and oversee IMSS procedures, including ST7 cases, occupational risk management, disability follow-up, and risk premium compliance.
• Monitor health-related KPIs and provide periodic reports to leadership.
• Manage suppliers and service providers related to medical services.
• Control occupational health documentation and ensure legal compliance.
• Coordinate medical examinations including pre-employment, periodic, return-to-work, and special assessments.
• Participate in audits and government inspections involving IMSS, STPS, and other regulatory authorities.
• Manage medical supplies, medications, and healthcare service budgets.
• Support financial and administrative activities, including invoicing and service contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Occupational Health management systems.
• Promote employee wellness initiatives and occupational health programs.

 

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS/MBA in Occupational Health, Occupational Medicine, or similar.
• Professional Medical License and Registration (Título y Cédula Profesional) required.
• Intermediate English.
• Experience in Occupational Health within manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing IMSS processes, ST7 cases, occupational risk premiums, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supervising healthcare personnel and external service providers.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience in metal-mechanical, aerospace, electromechanical, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
• Financial and administrative knowledge related to invoicing and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
