Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Helper

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Helper. The Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Helper safely loads rooftops with shingles, supports drivers during deliveries, and manages the movement, picking and organization of inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Load rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products.
• Work closely and co-operatively with drivers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of products.
• Handle material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment.
• Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.
• Ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked.
• Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store and yard.
• Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Basic Requirements

• Valid forklift license is considered an asset (training can be provided).
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights certification is considered an asset (training can be provided).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous warehouse and forklift operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 100lbs.
