GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Account Manager independently manages client accounts, serves as the primary client contact, and provides strategic insurance guidance while overseeing the full servicing lifecycle. For more information visit https://www.mypfsinsurance.com

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Assists with servicing customer account including phone calls and walk in customers.
  • Completes insurance proposals and quotes for agents and producers.
  • Issues binders, endorsements, cancellations/reinstatement notices, etc.
  • Prepares and distributes certificates of insurance.
  • Maintain accounts on agency management system.
  • Processes insurance claims and loss notices.
  • Assistant with renewals.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Assists with other job-related duties as assigned by manager. 
  • Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration are essential for this role. While remote work may be available periodically, there are times when being in the office is necessary to maintain our collaborative efforts. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Agency Software.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, and function as a team player.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate various office machines including switchboard, adding machine, copy machine, etc.
  • Ability to cross-sell insurance products.

 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proper insurance licenses.
