After Hours Coordinator - St Stephens Hospital 

• Employment Term:  Casual Opportunity available 
• Location: St Stephens Hospital, Hervey Bay 
• Remuneration: $64.96 – $73.02 phr Casual Loading + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in St Stephen’s Hospital team 

The After Hours Coordinator will provide managerial support to all departments within the hospital after hours. You will lead the hospital staff in achieving service excellence and act as a resource person for quality assurance and improvement. You will assess staffing levels of individual areas and where necessary, relocate staff to meet clinical and organisational needs. 

What makes a difference for us? 

As an experienced Nurse, you will present with: 

  • Extensive clinical experience with a minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role or senior role within a patient flow specialty 

  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/Midwifery 

  • Tertiary qualifications in people management and/or leadership (desirable) 

  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills 

  • Ability to effectively communicate and work within a multidisciplinary team 

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain relevant clinical expertise, skills and knowledge base to provide leadership within specialty areas 

  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster 

  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
