JOB PURPOSE:
The Finance and Administration Assistant who will handle the financial functions at the “Area Programme Office” with ethical leadership and business integrity. The position will provide stewardship and partnership to fulfil compliance risk and internal control requirements including other regulatory, legal, and organisational requirements.
The position will provide support and guidance to all the staff based in the AP office on cashiering service, produces financial reports, technical support on financial systems and will also help the capacity building and budget management to the AP staff.

This position will provide:
- Financial coordination and support for Programme staff including primary oversight for all project budgets.
- Provide supports on financial management and help the alignment and enhancing of WVI-C financial requirements.
- Assist for efficient and smooth day to day administrative services, and to actively engage and handle the procurement requirements
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure implementation of and compliance to WVI policies (finance, procurement, administrative and security) at HUBs
- Quality and timely services to CGPP (process payment, office facility, procurement requirement)
- Guide and help CGPP project team on timely and qualitative budget management.
- Responsible for data entry of financial transactions into systems.
- Support CGPP in implementing the procurement plan.
- Asset management (monitoring, tracking, disposal etc.
- Ensure CGPP are maintaining audit compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Financial Management, Banking and Finance, or a related discipline required.
- At least 1 years’ experience working in similar roles of core financial management with NGOs/INGOs
- Experience in NGO, financial institutions, development organization, charity, school or colleague
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Power Point) and other financial packages and Bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of regular office administration.
- Proactive, reliable and attentive to details and ability to work independently on task and assignments.
- Experience in handling administrative issues and concerns arising in the offices and having problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills, planning, organizing, analytical, team player, multitasking skills, communication and customer service skill.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Willing and able to travel with project areas at least 30-40 % to support the implementation and monitoring the program.
