POSITION: Manager, North America Online – Active Derm Cluster

We are seeking a digitally savvy e-commerce leader to support new channels, with an initial and specific focus on Tik Tok Shops. Tik Tok Shops is an increasingly important commercial channel as well as a digital marketing channel, driving meaningful customer acquisition and brand awareness that halos our entire business. This Manager will play an essential role in defining the brand’s strategy for how to show up on Tik Tok Shops and maximize the opportunity. Partnering closely with a centralized Tik Tok Shops team that is responsible for delivering financial targets, this role will translate brand priorities into a cohesive assortment, define the bundles and sampling strategy, partner closely with Marketing teams on creator selection, events, and Lives, and own how this channel fits within the broader digital ecosystem of each brand. Reporting into the VP North America Online, the ideal candidate is fluent in all things Tik Tok Shops, e-commerce, and digital media. This is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity to support one of the fastest growing and most dynamic channels in e-commerce today.

This role is fundamentally cross-functional, requiring close, trusted, and collaborative partnership with the rest of the Online team, the internal Tik Tok Shops team, and the brand Marketing teams. Specific responsibilities include:

• Responsible for defining and championing the Tik Tok Shops strategy for each brand; this manifests in a calendar this person will design, own, and execute. The calendar should capture owned and retailer accounts, with goal of aligning bundle, events, Lives, discounting and seeding strategy with brand NPL and marketing priorities as well as Tik Tok specific opportunities.
• Responsible for assortment and key bundles, aligning with brand priorities and key events (suggest net new as well as approve TTS team recos)
• Responsible for discounting, aligning with brand priorities and channel needs (establish strategy for discounts as well as approve TTS team recos)
• Responsible for creator management and sampling strategy, e.g., generate creator briefs, target strategy/commission structure, sampling goals, product selection for seeding, event/engagement recommendations
• Design Lives strategy and own calendar (talent, cadence, brand guidelines, test and learn)
• Responsible for measuring impact of Tik Tok Shops across broader brand, socializing and reporting on this, as well as adapting strategy accordingly.
• Own the Tik Tok Shops pilot we’re running with a retailer, and any that might follow, with eye towards differentiated right to win and maximizing opportunity across the Platform.
• Over time, scope may include: supporting other digital channels with centralized teams (Amazon), supporting or spearheading new distribution channels, and defining digital content needs for best in class ecommerce experiences.

## Qualifications

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of related e-commerce, digital marketing, social commerce or omnichannel retail experience
• Beauty, skincare or consumer-products experience preferred
• Experience with retailer e-commerce, marketplaces and/or social-commerce platforms; familiarity with TikTok Shop, Amazon, creator programs or Live shopping strongly preferred
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen with the ability to translate performance data into clear recommendations
• Able to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence across brands, functions, agencies, platforms, retailer partners and all levels of management
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized and proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment
