Automotive Service Advisor

Wiggs Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing Fayetteville, NC team. This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys helping people, understands the importance of clear communication, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow their earnings through strong performance.

Compensation: From $50,000+ per year, with earning potential based on performance

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Service Advisor serves as the connection between our customers and our automotive service team. You'll help customers understand their vehicle's needs, communicate recommended services, coordinate repairs with the shop, and make sure customers receive a professional experience from start to finish.

This is a busy environment, so we're looking for someone who can stay organized, communicate confidently, and maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple customers and repair orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and establish professional, long-term relationships
• Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle and service information accurately
• Coordinate with technicians to understand recommended repairs and services
• Clearly explain repair recommendations and answer customer questions
• Present and sell recommended maintenance and repair services
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Coordinate with technicians and the Parts Manager to keep work moving efficiently
• Follow up with customers as needed
• Maintain a professional and welcoming front-office environment
• Manage multiple customer interactions and repair orders in a fast-paced shop

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor or related customer-facing automotive experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confident, professional phone presence
• Strong sales ability and a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a busy environment
• Comfortable using computers and automotive shop software
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts personnel, and customers
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Automotive knowledge is helpful, but candidates with strong sales skills who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply
