## The impact you’ll make

You will be heading up a new organization that is accountable for Global Planning & Operations quality execution, a critically important group that spans and touches every function within Global Operations.

You will be expected to successfully architect the governance, accountability, roles, and responsibilities for GP&O quality in collaboration with the function heads of GP&O (Planning, Order Management/Execution, Spares Planning, Inventory Planning, and Engineering Services).

## What you’ll do

  • Build collaborative partnerships with each GP&O function.

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to the GP&O escalation resolution process, utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies to identify systemic root causes.
  • Support the systemic resolution of quality breakdowns within GP&O by leading the cross-functional collaborations required both within and outside of GOps.

  • Ensure that GP&O quality efforts are aligned with overall GOps Quality goals and key Tier 1 customer quality objectives.
  • Provide a governance framework that enables each GP&O function to achieve operational excellence in quality, speed, and proficiency.
  • Serve as a role model for Lam Core Values and the effective utilization of the Lam Management System to resolve conflicts and drive results.

## Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) with 15 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience applying advanced quality methodologies to improve quality and reduce variability.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence quality stakeholders across the company, including senior leadership at Lam Research.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Curious mindset, passion for quality, a bias for engagement, and the ability to drive innovative change.
  • Adept at creating and delivering effective presentations on quality topics and escalations to executive leadership.

## Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with customers in the semiconductor industry is desired.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is desired.
