Job Description:

Are you an organized, detail-oriented escrow professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers through one of life's most important transactions? We're looking for an Escrow Assistant or Escrow Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service throughout the closing process.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Escrow Officers, real estate professionals, lenders, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely real estate transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with escrow and title experience who is looking to continue developing their expertise while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

This is a fully onsite position (Monday-Friday) based in our Tomball, TX office.

What You'll Do

As a part of our Escrow Team, you'll support refinance and purchase transactions from opening through closing by:

  • Opening escrow orders and processing transaction files
  • Ordering payoffs, surveys, and other required documentation
  • Reviewing title commitments and preliminary reports while helping clear title requirements and encumbrances
  • Communicating with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys, and other transaction participants
  • Preparing closing packages, settlement statements, and transaction-related documentation
  • Coordinating signing appointments, including mobile notary services when needed
  • Assisting with funding, receipt of lender funds, and transaction disbursements
  • Preparing and submitting policy write-up instructions to the Title Department
  • Maintaining accurate electronic files and ensuring all documentation is properly uploaded and organized
  • Thoroughly documenting transaction activity to ensure transparency and compliance
  • Supporting team members and contributing to process improvements and operational excellence

As you grow within the role, you'll continue developing skills in:

  • Problem-solving and transaction management
  • Conducting signings with customers
  • Reviewing and satisfying escrow and title requirements
  • Preparing closing disclosures and settlement statements
  • Managing increasingly complex transactions independently

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting escrow, title, mortgage, real estate, or closing transactions
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of escrow processes, closing documents, and industry terminology
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Notary Commission
  • Knowledge of title insurance policies and endorsements
  • Experience preparing closing packages and coordinating real estate transactions
