Manage Reporting and Documentation
Maintain department records for incident reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards. Review student reports for quality and adherence to documentation requirements, and ensure follow through on all submitted reports. Coordinate the collection, organization, and secure storage of incident related media, including photos, videos, and electronic files, within approved systems.
Coordinate Daily Operations and Special Event Support
Coordinate with campus departments to provide appropriate security coverage for daily operations and special events. Prepare shifts for required duties, including gate operations, building openings and closings, and setup of safety equipment. Support quality assurance of security services by monitoring event execution and ensuring operational expectations are met.
Support Operational Logistics and Dispatch Functions
Assist with management of dispatch operations by coordinating communication, documentation, and daily activity logs. Maintain schedules, work orders, and event logs to support efficient operations. Support coordination of building access, patrol assignments, and event related tasks to ensure consistent operational coverage.
Coordinate Patrol Operations and Employee Development
Direct patrol officers during assigned shifts by outlining responsibilities and supporting field operations. Respond to medical incidents and perform safety inspections across campus. Assist with training, evaluating, and developing student employees to improve performance, accountability, and readiness within security operations.
