The Nurse Auditor is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, medical records, charges, and billing practices to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and appropriate reimbursement. This role utilizes clinical knowledge and auditing expertise to evaluate coding, charging, documentation, and revenue cycle processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement, staff education, and revenue optimization.The Nurse Auditor is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, medical records, charges, and billing practices to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and appropriate reimbursement.
