Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance activities on ammonia refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational reliability.
- Complete work orders and accurately document repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance activities, and parts usage in the CMMS system.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous experience in building maintenance, forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
Building Maintenance: Experience supporting lighting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs is a plus.
Refrigeration: Refrigeration and/or ammonia experience.
Certifications: OSHA, forklift certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, perform work at heights, and safely operate tools and equipment.
