Description
Our Product Managers are strategic thinkers and solution designers who challenge assumptions, shape possibilities, and turn ideas into impactful digital solutions.
As a Senior Product Manager at MX, you’ll be a trusted partner to senior client leaders, uncovering business challenges and translating them into innovative products, processes, and tools. You'll lead digital projects from strategy through delivery, shaping the right solution approach in partnership with design and engineering, guiding cross-functional teams, managing scope and budgets, and overseeing the full development lifecycle across both new and existing applications.
We’re looking for a confident leader with a strong point of view who can inspire collaboration, challenge ideas constructively, and guide clients and teams toward the best solutions. You’ll help create an environment where great ideas, and the people behind them, can thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Lead digital products from discovery and strategy through design, development, launch, and optimization.
- Facilitate strategic meetings and workshops that align stakeholders across marketing, sales, and technical teams, clarify requirements, and drive decisive, confident action.
- Evaluate solution options in partnership with UX and engineering, weighing build versus buy, platform versus custom, and speed versus flexibility, and guide clients toward the approach that best fits their business.
- Lead cross-functional teams, creating clarity around priorities, ownership, and outcomes.
- Bring a sharp, informed point of view to product decisions, challenging assumptions and pushing clients toward the right solution, not just the requested one.
- Own scope, budgets, risks, and dependencies across concurrent initiatives, keeping complex, high-stakes programs on track and on budget.
- Guide clients through ambiguity, tradeoffs, and high-consequence decisions, serving as a trusted strategic partner.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing products, processes, and digital experiences.
- Identify and implement AI-driven workflows that streamline product development and operational processes, keeping the team ahead of the curve on how digital work gets done.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of software experience, with 5+ years in product management, business analysis, product ownership, or a related role.
- Proven experience leading complex digital products in a B2B agency, software, or e-commerce environment.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies, including developing AI-driven workflows and building skills with platforms like Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini.
- Experience using common project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Monday.com, and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with common CMS and MarTech platforms (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Contentstack, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strategic, critical thinker who challenges assumptions, improves processes, and brings a strong point of view.
- Proven ability to independently lead initiatives, own outcomes, and hold teams accountable.
- Strong client leadership skills, with confidence facilitating workshops and partnering with senior executives.
- Experience scoping projects, developing estimates, and balancing business, user, and technical needs.
- Agile experience and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
