Cymulate is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our growing APJ team. You’ll be the technical backbone of our enterprise sales motion across the region partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and channel partners to show prospects exactly how Cymulate’s Exposure Validation platform reduces risk in their environment. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for someone who thrives on solving technical problems live in front of both CISOs and hands-on security teams.

What You Will Do:
    •    Lead technical discovery, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) throughout complex enterprise sales cycles
    •    Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success to drive deals to close
    •    Build and maintain relationships with both security executives and hands-on technical teams
    •    Design and run in-depth proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate measurable outcomes from the Cymulate platform
    •    Support and enable channel partners (resellers, MSSPs, distributors) to run their own technical sales motions
    •    Represent Cymulate at trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events across APJ
    •    Share customer feedback and technical requirements with Product and R&D to influence the roadmap
    •    Mentor other Sales Engineers and champion pre-sales best practices across the region
    •    Stay current on new product features, competitive landscape, and industry developments

What You Will Need:
    •    5+ years of pre-sales/sales engineering experience in cybersecurity, delivering solutions to C-level executives at strategic/enterprise accounts
    •    Proven track record supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
    •    Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including SOC, SIEM, red teaming, and penetration testing
    •    Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, or vulnerability management platforms
    •    Experience with Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) or Adversarial Exposure Validation (AEV) strongly preferred
    •    Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, networking, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
    •    Familiarity with APIs, MCPs, and AI and security tool integrations
    •    Excellent presentation and communication skills, equally comfortable whiteboarding with technical teams and briefing security executives
    •    Ability to travel up to 40% across the APJ region
Preferred Qualifications:
    •    Experience building or supporting a partner-led technical sales model (GSIs, MSSPs, distributors)
    •    Track record of delivering world-class demos and training to channel/partner ecosystems
    •    Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
