Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Security Support in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
