You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarms, and provide welcoming customer service. Using computers or tablets, you will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and work with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by procedures.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
