What We’re Looking For:
A reliable and detail-oriented Stewarding Food Runner who ensures the seamless flow of food, equipment, and supplies between kitchen and banquet areas or outlets. In this role, you’ll support the food and beverage service teams by transporting prepared dishes, buffet equipment, and essential supplies to designated areas. Your efforts will help maintain operational efficiency and create exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Do:
Deliver prepared dishes, trays, and buffet items from the kitchen to banquet rooms or outlets promptly and safely.
Transport service supplies, such as chafing dishes, serving utensils, and linens to designated areas, ensuring readiness for service.
Maintain food quality and presentation during delivery to uphold Loews’ standards of excellence.
Assist with setting up buffets, banquet tables, and food stations according to event requirements.
Support breakdown and storage of equipment after events, ensuring all items are cleaned, organized, and returned to proper storage areas.
Collaborate closely with culinary, banquet, and stewarding teams to guarantee timely delivery and smooth operations.
Power-wash carts, hotboxes, and assigned areas as requested, maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
Communicate delays, shortages, or issues promptly to kitchen or banquet supervisors.
Keep transport carts, trays, and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and equipment.
Assist with dishwashing or kitchen cleanup duties as needed to support overall operations.
Monitor and restock service areas with necessary supplies throughout events and meal periods.
Report low inventory levels or equipment needs to the Executive Steward and/or Stewarding Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted service.
Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Previous experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality-related work, preferred.
Must have multi-tasking skills, internal/external customer service skills.
Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
