Job Title
Intern Data Quality SupportJob Description
Use your analytical mindset to help improve data quality for Rabobank clients across 38 countries.
You & your role
As a Data Quality Support Intern, your analytical skills help uncover the secrets of accurate data and meaningful analysis. The role involves reviewing international credit files, identifying inconsistencies and supporting experienced colleagues in performing data quality controls. There is also room to contribute ideas for improving processes through dashboards, SQL, Databricks and AI solutions. This offers a unique opportunity to learn how data, credit risk and technology come together within an international bank.
The 11 colleagues in the International Data Quality Team monitor the quality of credit files from regions across the globe. The team combines expertise in credit structures, credit risk and data quality. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, working together as one data-minded team within Rabobank. English is the working language, and you will collaborate with colleagues from different countries and professional backgrounds.
Examples from practice
Review information from complex credit files and identify even the smallest data inconsistencies.
Collect, structure and prepare data, enabling the team to perform high-quality data controls.
Explore how dashboards, databases and AI-driven solutions can make controls smarter and less manual.
Facts & figures
36-hour workweek.
An international team with multiple different nationalities.
More than 48,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.
Top 3 responsibilities
Supporting experienced consultants and analysts in performing data quality controls on international credit files.
Collecting, validating and structuring data to support the team's daily data quality processes.
Identifying and helping implement improvements in data collection, dashboards and control processes together with colleagues from Data, Credit Risk and IT.
The internship offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the team’s work and, where relevant to your studies, carry out a research or graduation assignment. The balance between operational work and research activities can be discussed. Together, we will determine the start date, preferably no later than February.
Together we achieve more than alone
We believe in the power of diversity. By combining different perspectives and backgrounds, we become a better bank. We are therefore curious to discover what you can add to our international Data Quality team within Wholesale & Rural.
Work on yourself & the world around you at the same time
For us, your development and societal progress go hand in hand. That is why we invest in your growth while working together towards a better world. We summarise this in one sentence: “At Rabobank, you work on yourself and the world around you at the same time.”
Personal development opportunities, our hybrid way of working and a healthy work-life balance bring this ambition to life. At the same time, your contribution supports services for private and business clients as well as major societal transitions, such as the food and energy transition.
