Head Chef
Smokey’s
Manitowish Waters, WI
A taste of northern Wisconsin nostalgia, with a modern twist! Smokey’s is an intimate Wisconsin Northwoods supper club that offers exquisite cuisine in a casually elegant setting. We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and prepare delicious meals for our guests. The Head Chef will lead and direct line cooks, as well as open, prepare and close the kitchen. If you have Wisconsin roots or just love classic supper club-style cuisine, this is the opportunity for you!
Hours: Full-time - five nights a week, including weekends and some holidays.
This position is in Manitowish Waters, WI. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities
Supervise cooking and kitchen personnel.
Create and execute daily plans for kitchen operations and manage staff performance.
Monitor inventory and place orders.
Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition.
Maintain quality standards, ensuring guests are served the best possible product!
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary degree preferred.
Food Handler certificate.
Strong, hands-on leadership skills with excellent customer service and time management.
