Engineering Lead (Part-time)

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to work with our small development team — someone who can help guide technical decisions, review code, and directly contribute to the codebase as a core part of the role.

## Tasks

This is not meant to be a purely advisory or management role. We need someone who can bring structure, challenge ideas, help with architecture, and **also do real engineering work in the code itself**.

The work would include

• steering development,
• discussing product and technical direction,
• reviewing PRs,
• solving implementation problems,
• and helping the team raise the quality of what we build.

## Requirements

We work mainly with **TypeScript, AWS,** **modern web backend and frontend systems**. Experience with **serverless setups** and **containerized approaches** is important, since we use and evaluate both.

The time commitment is around **10–15 hours** per week and can be structured flexibly. Most of the work can happen outside standard office hours, although some overlap with the team would be needed for discussions, reviews, and planning.

You should be generally reachable on Slack. From time to time, we would also like to work together in person, including technical discussions and ideation sessions in our Berlin office.
